for a Year 10 place at Mulberry UTC in September 2017

Mulberry University Technical College (UTC) is a new school for girls and boys aged 14-19 opening in Tower Hamlets in September 2017. It is being set up by Mulberry School for Girls as part of the Mulberry Family of Schools.

This application form allows students to apply for a place at Mulberry UTC, so they can leave their existing school at the end of Year 9 and join the UTC at the start of Year 10. An adult who has legal parental responsibility for the child applying must complete this form.

The deadline for receipt of online or paper application forms is 5pm on Tuesday 31st January 2017. Forms received after this date will be considered after those received on time.

Our admissions policy gives priority to:
  • 1. Students with Education, Health and Care Plans
  • 2. Students who are, or who have been, looked after by the local authority
  • 3. Students who receive the Pupil Premium
  • 4. The siblings of current or former students of Mulberry School for Girls or Mulberry UTC

Supplementary Form: Pupil Premium Admission Priority

Mulberry UTC gives priority to students receiving the Pupil Premium. This means that, if the school is over-subscribed, pupils who are eligible for the Pupil Premium will be offered a place before children who are not eligible.
