Mulberry UTC are pleased to be able to invite prospective Year 10 and Year 12 students and their parents/carers to find out more about Mulberry UTC and the exciting opportunities it has to offer. This Open Evening is particularly relevant to current Year 9 and Year 11 students who are thinking about applying to join Mulberry UTC in September 2018.

Dr Katharine Vincent, our Principal, will host a presentation at 5:30pm explaining why Mulberry UTC is so unique and how students will benefit from our combination of academic, technical and professional learning.

This UTC Open Evening will be held at our wonderful new building on Parnell Road in Bow, enabling students to have a look at our wide range of state of the art facilities.

NB Please register for the event in the prospective student’s name (i.e. not the parent’s name). Registering a parental e-mail address is fine, as further details will be sent out to this address during the recruitment process.

Please note: It is essential that you apply on-time (before January 31st) as application received after this date are classed as late and are unlikely to result in having a place. Application forms can be found online and in hard copy at our open events. We will be accepting application forms during our events. Applicants are welcome from across London - please see our admissions policy on our website

By registering to attend this event, you give permission for your photograph to be taken and used by Mulberry UTC within marketing material, both printed and online. If you wish to withdraw this consent, please notify a member of the team upon arrival.

Year 10 students have been thoroughly enjoying PE sessions down at Shadwell Basin with Mr. Dobbs. Activities have included sailing, kayaking, and rockclimbing!

Pepper the robotMulberry UTC and Pepper joined the NHS England Young People's Takeover Challenge Event at Guy's Hospital on Saturday. Pepper is an industrial robot, already used as a hospital receptionist in Belgian hospitals, where it greets patients, shows them around and helps with translation.  UTC students will work with Pepper and other developments in health technology, so they are well prepared for their future careers.  Pepper's manufacturers claim it is an 'emotional' robot which helps people feel relaxed by responding to them in a friendly and empathetic  way. The people who met Pepper on Saturday certainly seemed to agree!

Mulberry UTC’s creative stage lighting workshop has been postponed until January. It will be open to all Year 9 and Year 11 students. Details will be published on this website soon.

All Y11 students, or Y12 students on 1-year courses, are warmly invited to Mulberry UTC’s Year 12 Information Evening on Thursday 2 October from 4.30-7pm.
