Our employer and university sponsors are closely involved in the development of Mulberry UTC and the delivery of its curriculum. Each of them has a representative on the UTC’s governing body. Their involvement ensures that the UTC’s provision provides the experiences, skills and qualifications that young people need for their future careers.
Our employer and university sponsors are looking for young people with a strong mix of technical and academic skills. They have pledged to consider appropriately-qualified Mulberry UTC students for a further or higher education place, an apprenticeship or an industry-relevant job.
Barts Health NHS Trust is the largest NHS trust in the country and one of Britain’s leading healthcare providers. As well as the Royal London Hospital, it is responsible for St Bartholomew’s, Newham University Hospital, Mile End and Whipps Cross hospitals.
The involvement of Barts will help ensure that students at Mulberry UTC are able to gain the knowledge, skills, experience and qualifications they need to successfully compete for a wide range of jobs in the health sector, including nursing and midwifery, healthcare and medical support services, research, health promotion, dentistry, medical support in health centres and GP services, schools’ health services, mental health services, community health and care work.

Goldsmiths is a public research university which specialises in the arts, designs, humanities, and social sciences. It was founded in 1891 and has a distinguished history of contributing to arts and social sciences. Its Department of Art is widely recognised as one of Britain's most prestigious, producing the YBA's art collective and over 20 Turner Prize nominees. Goldsmiths is also famous for design, psychology, drama, sociology, music, media and cultural studies, languages and literature, visual cultures, anthropology and educational studies.
The Royal National Theatre is one of the United Kingdom's most prominent publicly funded performing arts venues. Internationally, it is known as the National Theatre of Great Britain.
